Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Anti-Wrinkle treatment uses an injectable known as Botulinum toxin type A (more commonly known as the brand name Botox®).

Anti-wrinkle treatment causes temporary paralysis of muscles, which reduces skin movement and leads to the appearance of smoothing of skin folds and wrinkles, causing them to be less noticeable. Anti-Wrinkle treatment can also be used to reduce excessive sweating in the armpits.

It is a non-permanent injectable which wears off over time, with sweating or muscles regaining their normal function. Results generally appear 2-14 days after injection.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are a semi-permanent injectable material consisting mainly of hyaluronic acids (naturally occurring in the body) and lidocaine (numbing material).

Dermal fillers are used to smooth or correct wrinkles, replace, or increase volume in the face and augment the face; this may be secondary to ageing, sun-exposure, illness and scarring.

Dermal fillers are injected under the skin with a very fine needle and the results may be seen immediately.
